Id suggestions please for an enamelled bird on a European glass vase

Ivo Haanstra is a highly respected glass collector, historian, and published author.   The Legras glassworks that he suggests as an attribution was in France.   I am not sure of the date of this vase, but early 20th century would not be too far out.

Difficult one, may be worth a try at Birdforum, problem is that it looks very stylelised.
